Jimmie Lee Travis, Sr., was born on November 22, 1931, and passed away May 30, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Loyd & Mildred Travis. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth; children, Kathy Travis Jackson & husband Ronnie, Jimmie L. Travis, Jr. & wife Pamela; grandchildren, James, Justin,Chelsea & Jim; great-granddaughters, Kinsey, Maelie & Jaylin; sister, Betty & Leon Waters and numerous nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 2, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Graveside services to follow at 12:20 p.m. at Grand View Memorial Park.
