Jimmie Dell Norman Witsaman

Jimmie Dell Norman Witsaman, age 89, of The Woodlands, Texas, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Grace Residential Care Home.

Born July 29, 1931 as Jimmie Dell Stark in Montgomery, Texas, she is preceded in death by her husband Ernest Branch Norman of 32 years and Herbert W. Witsaman of 20 years. She is also preceded in death by her parents Ada Biscamp Stark and Alfonzo Miles Stark, her sister Billie Louise Cross, and son-in-law William G. Kruse.

Jimmie is survived by: daughter Melinda Kruse of Cleveland, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law Georgianna and Michael Guthrie of The Woodlands, Texas, Pamela Norman and Kirk Fleener of San Antonio, Texas, and Anita and Michael LaBerge of Goodyear, Arizona; grandchildren Ernest Bryan Kruse, William Brenton Kruse, Jana Louise Durfee, Amber Gale Merced-Lea, James Nathan Geer and Matthew Layton Geer; 9 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She enjoyed spending valuable time with her 4 girls and their families. Jimmie was a multi-talented woman who was as comfortable with a drill and a saw building furniture as she was with her gardening tools. She loved her dirt therapy and getting her hands in the soil. She was a talented seamstress and baker. Her love of painting had Southwest Artist magazine showcasing her oil paintings.

The family will receive visitors Friday, March 26, 2021, at 12:00pm until 2:00pm, followed by Memorial Services and Interment at 2:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 8501 Spencer Highway in Pasadena, Texas.
