After dedicating 40+ years to the industry, Joe retired from AT&T. He was a loving husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be truly missed by everyone who knows him.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years Carol Madden, daughter Lanette Cassidy-Harrison and son-in-law Mark Harrison, daughter Sandra Madden, grandkids Steven Hart, Brett Cassidy, Chase Cassidy and Morgan Cassidy, great-grandkids Willow Hart, Echo Hart, McKinlee Cassidy and Alexander Cassidy. Brother Jerry Madden and wife Rhaeanne Madden, sister Sandra Anthony, sister Ann Ray and husband David Ray.
Joe was preceded in death by his dad Sam Madden, mother Ola Faye Sedgwick, brother James Neal Madden and grandson Kyle Cassidy.
A visitation will be held at the Grand View Funeral Home & Memorial Park/Bethany Cemetery, located at 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas, in the Yellow Rose Chapel. The visitation is scheduled for February 11, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, and again from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the same venue on February 11, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
