He worked in heavy construction starting at the age of 16 to support his new wife and new born son. He made the move from Hallettsville, Texas to the big city of Houston in pursuit of a better life for his new family. He worked for Abrams construction, McKinney & James, O&O construction as well as Williams Brothers construction. When you're driving around the Houston area there is a pretty good chance you're driving on a road he helped build from the ground up. When he wasn't working he was busy doing what he loved to do more than anything else, spending time with his four grandchildren. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Nothing meant more to him than his family.
