John Harp, 75, of Laporte, Texas passed away October 16, 2015. He was born June 12, 1940 in Humble, Texas. He served for 4 years in the United States Navy. Mr. Harp worked at Kellogg Brown and Root, Inc. for 25 years before retiring. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jerry Harp; sister Betty Candelaria; children Gloria Crenshaw, Ted and wife Debi Ganoe, Cathy Robertson, Mark Scroggs, Michelle and husband Lior Yona; and daughter in law Christie Scroggs; grandchildren Jeremy, Leah, Ted, Stacia, Joshua, Searra, Alexis, Kylie, Eliov; great grandchildren Briana, Samuel, Drew, Mallory, McKenna, and Eva.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 from 5:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at noon at Grand View Funeral Home with interment to follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
