Johnny Garcia Gutierrez

Johnny Garcia Gutierrez, born April 21, 1951, in Corpus Christi, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Johnny proudly served his country in the United States Army, a reflection of his strength, dedication, and sense of duty.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Vargas Gutierrez and Elvira Lille Gutierrez; his sister, Maria Delia Guerra; his brothers, Felipe Antonio Gutierrez and Sidney Antonio Gutierrez; his nephew, Gabriel Cisco Gutierrez; his niece, Christina Gutierrez Ochoa; and his beloved granddaughter, Neveah Gutierrez.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Judy Gutierrez. He leaves behind his children, Rachel Fontinelle and her husband Bonny Fontinelle, and Raul Gutierrez and his wife Melanie Gutierrez. Johnny was a proud grandfather to Carlos Garza IV, Lucas and Connie Medina, Lauryn Gutierrez, Raul Gutierrez Jr., Joshua Fontinelle, and Jayla Fontinelle, and a cherished great-grandfather to Emery Medina and Envy Medina.

He is also survived by his siblings: Antonio Gutierrez and his wife Angelina Gutierrez; Andres Gutierrez and his wife Juanita Gutierrez; and Gabriel Gutierrez and Sylvia Gutierrez.

Johnny will be remembered for his love of family, his strength, and the lasting impact he made on those around him. His legacy lives on through the generations he helped shape and the many lives he touched.

Visitation will be held at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505, on June 2, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505, on June 2, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

A Committal Service will follow at Grand View Funeral Home & Memorial Park/Bethany Cemetery, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505, on June 2, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
