Jose Trevino

Jose P. Treviño was born on March 21, 1954 in Gregory, Texas to parents Francisco and Irene Treviño. He married Gracie Saldivar on November 15, 1975. They moved to Pasadena, Texas and raised their 4 children in the same home that they spent 44 years living in.

Joe was a good provider for his family. His started his career as a Welder in 1973. He was the master of his craft, he perfected his profession as a welder and fitter.

Joe loved to dance with his wonderful wife. He was hospitable when others came to visit. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. He loved to pick pecans from the tree in the backyard and peel them together with his daughter. He had a good sense of humor, making jokes whenever possible. He loved seeing his little grandchildren and had nicknames for the babies.

Joe is survived by his wife Gracie Treviño. His children: Joe, Frankie, Robert Treviño, Linda and her husband Benjamin Reyes. His grandchildren: Desirre, Joe, Caillou, Jason, Emily, Nolan, Jaxson, Matthew Treviño, Samuel, Timothy and baby Lilliana Reyes due in November. Great-grandchild: Oliver Hunt. His two sisters: Reyes Hernandez and Ramona Treviño. And many more relatives.

The family would like to thank everyone for the kind words and supportive gestures during this difficult time.

A visitation for Jose will be held Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
