Joyce Carmen McCants

Joyce was married to the love of her life, Billy Joe McCants, for 58 years. She worked for the United States Postal Service and retired in 2004. Joyce was lovingly known as Nanny to her family and friends. She had a passion for angels, flowers gardens, frogs, and birds. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by loving parents William and Ava Strahan, twin brother Royce Strahan, sister Vivian Rankin and husband Sonny, and brother Robert Strahan.

Left to cherish Joyce's memory are her devoted husband Billy Joe McCants, son Van McCants and wife Ana, daughter Vicky Weikert and husband Thomas, and grandchildren: Kaitlyn Whipple and husband Josh, Kevin McCants, Samantha Serrano, Alen Serrano, Bertha Mozqueda, Jamie Rasco and husband Brandon, James Moravek and wife Evie, and great-grandchildren Mason Rasco, Jaxon Rasco, and soon to be born Dawson Rasco, Alana, and soon to be born Grace Moravek.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM with a Celebration of Joyce's Life beginning at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. Immediately following she will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park.
