Kathleen Jo Hartley

Kathleen Jo (Kathy) Hartley was born to Frances and Rodney Glendening on May 16, 1950 in Wilson, Kansas. She married Carl Hudson Hartley on February 22, 1974 and moved with him to Texas to begin their life together. They were blessed with two sons and she worked as a hairdresser and with Hudson in their company the Carl H. Hartley Plumbing Company until his death on November 28,2001.

Kathy passed away on February 5, 2022 in Pasadena, TX.

She was a strong Christian lady and she and Hudson were active members of Pasadena First Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School and they served in any way they could. She lived to serve her God and others and was an amazing wife, momma, grammy, sister, aunt and

friend. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she loved celebrating it. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her and we know she is joyfully in Heaven with Hudson and her loved ones waiting for the rest of us to join them.

Kathy is survived by her son Garrett Hartley and his wife Tiffany and their sons Billy, Eli and Luke and her son Jeffrey Hartley. Sister Colleen Allen and husband Ron and their sons and granddaughters, and step brothers Rodney Ralph Glendening and Randy Glendening. Brother in law Mark Hartley and wife Rhonda and their children and grandchildren, sister in law Lyndy Doskocil and husband Gary and their children and brother in law Scott Bowlin and his children and grandchildren.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband Hudson, mother Frances, father Rodney, father in law Carl Hartley and mother in law Margie Hartley, sister in law Dianne Bowlin and great nephew Lance Corbin.

Kathy will be laid to rest next to her forever love Hudson at 10:00 am on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2022, in a graveside service officiated by Pastor Ron Whitlock at Grandview Cemetery, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX.
