Kevin Ray Bailey

Kevin was born in Houston to Carolyn and Darrell Bailey on March 3, 1967. He graduated from LaPorte High School and worked as an insurance agent for Colonial Life. Kevin had a passion for life and was a loving Dad, Husband, and Grandpop to his large family. He was always the one that could turn a sad situation into a smile on your face. He loved to play the guitar and joke around with his friends and family, especially while playing Texas Hold ‘Em. Kevin had a love for all sports, especially Football, Baseball, and Basketball. He loved spending time hunting with his Dad and kiddos, Kyle and Katie. He always enjoyed helping coach Katie’s softball team and more importantly he loved to watch her play.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Darla Bailey, his son Kyle Bailey, daughter Kaitlyn Bailey, his mother Carolyn Henry and husband Tommy, son Jeremy Sandel and husband Randy Vega, son Justin Sandel and wife Kristan, son Christopher Sandel and wife Chelsea, daughter Amy Cronan and husband Nick, grandsons Austin, Lincoln, and Easton Sandel, granddaughters Gracelyn and Saylor Cronan, his twin brother Keith and husband Jon McGuire, brother Darrell Henry and wife Kimberly, brother Steven Greenlee and wife Christi, sister Dana Frederick, sister Nikole Lowry and husband Doug, and sister Stacy Jeter and husband Scott. Kevin was preceded in death by his father Darrell and stepmother Donna.

Kevin has gone home to his maker, Jesus Christ, where he will be our guardian angel.

The celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 5th at:
