Kimberly Vasquez Hammer, 41, of Pasadena, Texas was born April 19, 1980 in Houston, Texas to Noe and Linda (Cisneros) Vasquez and passed away Friday, August 20, 2021. Kimberly was a loving and dedicated mother to her son, Sean Rivera; who she treasured very much.
Kimberly and her husband, Michael Hammer, shared a great love and many interests in life. Her bright, sparkling personality, smile and laughter brought joy to so many she loved. She was a lover of literature, and enjoyed many different types of novels; but her favorite was always Harry Potter. She was a big sports fan; who loved to cheer on the Houston Astros, Dallas Cowboys, and Texas A&M Aggies with her family. In her spare time, Kimberly enjoyed listening to music and watching or discussing anything Disney.
Kimberly is preceded in death by her father, Noe Vasquez and is survived by her husband of 4 years, Michael Hammer; her son, Sean Rivera; her mother, Linda Vasquez; brother, Kevin Noel Vasquez; sister, Krystal (Barry) Vasquez Groaning; mother-in-law, Phyllis Hammer; father-in-law, Harold Hammer; sister-in-law, Laura Hammer and brother-in-law, Timothy (Mary Beth) Hammer; along with numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home with a rosary being recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 4, 2021 at San Juan Diego Catholic Church at 9:00am with burial following at Grand View Memorial Park Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rhett Lawrence, David Flake, Timothy Hammer, Luis Carlos Vasquez Jr., Marco A. Vasquez and Juan Alfonzo Vasquez.
