Laticia "Tish" Anderson

Laticia was born in Houston, Texas on Friday May 13,1955, the youngest of seven children, to John and Edna Nichols. She was unapologetically herself with a wicked sense of humor and sharp wit. She was talented in the kitchen, a master of yarn, always had her camera out, had the greenest of thumbs and played the meanest air guitar. Tish could often be found with a book when her stereo wasn’t blaring the Blues or Rock music she loved. On March 19,1988 Laticia and Martin Anderson were united in marriage blending their families. They were a racing team of two for many years at Houston Raceway Park, indulged their horde of spoiled kitties, were avid concert goers, camped in Trinity, played pool and were proud Grandparents.

Mrs. Laticia Anderson is survived by her husband Martin Anderson; children and their spouses: Eric and Laurie Anderson, Daniel and Brandy Hopper, and William and Daisy Oldham. Grandchildren: Keith and Megan Simpson, Eric Anderson Jr., Joseph Anderson, Delaney Anderson, Morgan and Sullivan Anderson, Zachary and Ashleigh Hopper, Nathaniel Hopper and Samuel and Kara Hopper. Great-grandchildren: Harley Simpson and Alita Anderson, brother Donald Nichols and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Laticia was preceded in passing by her beloved son Christopher Troy Nichols, parents John and Edna Nichols, siblings Laura Nichols, Arthur Nichols, Johnny Nichols, Brenda Turnbo and Janice Nagle, and then there was her much loved fluffy cat George.

A viewing is to be held on Tuesday April 22, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home located at 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. A service will be held on Thursday April 24, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Little Hope Baptist Church in Little Hope, Texas.
