She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Zomar Jack Romain, son, Monty Romain, grandsons, Kenneth Morton, Michael Romain, brothers, Claudie Henry "Skeet" Black, James T. Black, Wilburne Black, Billy Ray Black, sisters, Lorene Pluto and Lillie Faye New.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Morton and husband James, sisters, Helen Pierce and husband Early, Frances Sims and husband William, grandson, Ron Morton and wife Kim, numerous nieces and nephews, great-granddaughters, Kayla Morton and Brooke Smith, great-grandsons, Josh Morton, Brandon Morton, Jason Romain and Ryan Romain.
