Maria Luisa Espinosa, 84 of Pasadena, Texas was born June 7, 1937 in Reynosa, Mexico to Nicholas and Carolina (Correa) Garza and passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. She was a happy person, who loved music, dancing and going to the beach. She enjoyed getting dressed up and going to the casinos. She also enjoyed eating snow cones and tamales. She was a very strong lady and she supported Sacred Heart and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Churches.
She is survived by her life partner, Jeromino Lugo; her son, Jesus Sagastegui; her daughter, Maria Duarte and husband, Jose; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; along with her sisters, Rafaela Rodriguez and husband, Tomas, Cruz Martinez and husband, Nicholas; brothers, Abalardo Garza and wife, Consuela and Roberto Garza.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Carolina Garza.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Grand View Funeral Home with burial following at Grand View Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday afternoon beginning at 1:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home.
