Marilyn P. Winn passed from this life on February 1, 2012 in Humble, TX at the age of 74. She was born on October 19, 1937 in Carmine, TX to Herbert and Rosa Lee Eckert. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; son, Randolph Christopher Winn; sister, Jeanette Ann Baugh; and her brother Roy Dale Eckert. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Billy Joe Winn; children, Richard Alfred Winn, Robert Douglas Winn, Cyreatha Kay Winn; grandchildren, Amanda Michelle Winn, Tyler Alexander Winn, Randolph Christopher Winn, II; brother, Arlen Gene Eckert; as well as numerous other extended family members and friends. Marilyn retired from JC Penney. She loved the Lord, and her church family. She also enjoyed reading, gardening and taking care of her family. Marilyn will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will take place on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Lamb of God Lutheran Church 1400 FM 1960 Bypass Rd E Humble, TX 77338. The family will receive friends for visitation following funeral services from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. in Grand View Memorial Park. Those desiring to do so may send memorial donations in honor of Marilyn to the Lamb of God Lutheran Church.
