Martha Montoya Lucio

She was married to Diego Lucio for 51 years. Martha had a career in Sectional supervisor data entry for the Harris County Clerk’s office for 31 years. She was a member of Norma’s Ministry and had a passion for Senior Center activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents Eliseo and Catherine Montoya, sister Melba Borhani, and brothers Alex Montoya, Eliseo Montoya Jr, and Carlos Montoya.

She is survived by her loving husband Diego Lucio, daughter Brandie Reyes and husband Freddy Reyes Jr, daughter Sabrina Hernandez and husband David Hernandez Jr., and Siobhan Stidham and husband Chasen Stidham. Grandchildren Felicia Ibarra, Freddy Reyes III, Brianna Reyes, Jasmine Hernandez, Ariel Hernandez and one great-grandchild Freddy Reyes IV. She also leaves behind sisters Beatriz Daneshvar, Norma Kirby, Gloria Montoya, Paula Montoya, Regina Garcia, and brother Greg Montoya.

Martha was a beloved grandmother whose life was defined by love, generosity, and compassion. She was the heart of her family and found her greatest joy in being surrounded by those she loved. Martha lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with gratitude and grace.

She had a remarkable gift for caring for others and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Whether family, friend, or stranger, Martha’s kindness knew no limits. Her selflessness and warm spirit touched countless lives and left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though we mourn her passing, we take comfort in knowing that Martha has been welcomed into eternal peace and now rests in the loving arms of her Savior. Her faith, kindness, and legacy of love will continue to live on through her family and all the lives she touched.

Martha’s legacy lives on through the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the family she cherished so deeply. She will be forever missed and always remembered.

Visitation will be held at Grand View Funeral Home, located at 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas, 77505, on December 22, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Martha's Life will take place at Grand View Funeral Home on December 23, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Immediately following Martha will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park.
