Mary Alice Ortiz

Mary Alice Ortiz was born in Round Mountain, Tx on June 21, 1937. She entered Heaven's gates on March 24, 2013 a loving wife, mother, and homemaker, Mary Alice was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She would spend her spare time crocheting and making handmade crosses. She showed her love by giving the things she made as gifts. Mary Alice also had a love for music and dancing.

Mary Alice was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainview, Tx. This is where she raised her children and resided most of her life. She had an unwavering faith in God.

Mary Alice leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband of 52 years Manuel R. Ortiz Jr; 4 children, Carolyn Gonzales, Salvador (Mary) Ortiz, Patsy (Noe) Ramos, Antonio (Jennifer) Ortiz; 17 grandchildren, Melissa, Michael , Jennifer, Quanha, Bernadette, Dominic, Monica, Christopher, Stella, Jerry (Naomi), Marcy (Oscar), Theresa, Noe, Amaris, Jules, Candis & Kamryn; 37 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; her mother Reyes Castillo; 3 brothers Tony, Salvador, and Rudy Castillo; and a sister Ester Trevino.

Mary Alice was preceded in death

By daughter Carmen Gonzales, Son Manuel Ortiz III, great grandchild Dominik Ramos, father Augustine Castillo, sisters Mary Lozano, Sylvia, and bothers Johnny, Freddy, Arturo, Steven Castillo.
