Mary A. Yurt, of Friendswood, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the age of 85. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Marvin Griffin and Richard Contreras and her daughter-in-law, Sharon Yurt. She is survived by her son, Dale L. Yurt, Sr, grandsons Dale L. Yurt, Jr. and Kip Alan Yurt, along with his wife Lori Ann Yurt, her grandsons Sebatian Lee Yurt, Vincent Austin Yurt and Dallas Shayne Yurt, and her great-grandchildren Kayden and Kaylen Yurt. She will be missed but, not forgotten. Viewing will be held at Grand View Funeral Home on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 1pm to 3pm with the funeral services following at 3pm in the chapel.
