Matias Ivan Lopez

Matias Lopez graduated from Pasadena high school 2009 and he started his career as a painter in the Petro chemical refineries in 2010 went on to become a safety technician in 2016 eventually leading him to get his NACE coating inspector level 2 certification for the national association corrosion engineering quality assurance and quality control inspector for RDS.

A beloved son, cousin with a beautiful smile that could light up the room. Ivan or Ivansito as all his older cousins would call him had a great love for nice cars, music, sports, fishing and Pokémon. At his young age he had accomplished so much from owning his own house, 3 vehicles and motorcycle. He was a professional individual at his job and took great pride in his work he was always looking for ways to grow with the company. Matias Ivan Lopez was light of his family always bringing joy and laughter everywhere he went. He will always be remembered by his friends and family because of his great big heart always willing to lend a helping hand out to whoever needed it. Matias Ivan loved hanging out with friends listening to music and barbecuing. He will be forever missed and loved by all his friends and family.

He is survived by his parents Matias Lopez Diaz and Zenaida Lopez Soria and his sister Jessica Lopez de Esquivel and grandmother maria del Refugio Dominguez

A visitation to honor Matias will take place on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pasadena Funeral Chapel located at 2203 PASADENA BLVD, PASADENA, TX 77502. On Saturday, April 6, 2024, there will be a lying-in-state from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. Following the lying-in-state, a celebration of life will commence at 2:00 PM, also at 2203 PASADENA BLVD, PASADENA, TX 77502. Finally, a committal service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Grand View Memorial Park, situated at 8516 Spencer Hwy, Deer Park, TX 77536.
