Michael Allen Davis Sr.

Michael Allen Davis, Sr. passed away on October 12, 2012 at the age of 69. He was born on January 10, 1943 in Sacramento, California to Robert and Maybel Davis. Michael grew up in Pasadena, Texas and considered himself a life long resident of the area. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, and retired from Lyondell Citgo after 30 years of employment. Michael was a musician. He loved all music, especially the blues. He was also passionate about photography, and could always be found having his coffee and donuts at Shipleys each morning. Michael deeply loved his family and friends as they loved him. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Robert "Bobby" Davis. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Francene Davis; 2 daughters, Michele Davis, Marci Reyna and her husband Leon; 1 son, Michael Allen Davis, Jr. and his wife Marion; and 8 grandchildren, Jordan Douglas, Noah Carmen, Lacey Reyna, Zachary Reyna, Melody Reyna, Michael Davis, III, Ryan Davis, and Abigail Davis.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 10:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church 6435 Fairmont Pkwy. Pasadena, Texas 77505. In lieu of usual remembrances donations in memory of Michael may be made to the Special Olympics Texas at 7715 Chevy Chase Dr., Suite 120 - Austin, TX 78752.
