

Michael Allen Mead, age 53, passed away on March 28, 2025. Born in Pasadena Texas on November 14, 1971, Mike lived a life full of passion, music, and unwavering love for those closest to him — both human and canine.
Mike proudly served in the United States Navy from June 1993 to June 1995, carrying the values of service and loyalty with him for the rest of his life. After his time in the Navy, Mike began a long and dedicated career with the United States Postal Service in 1996, where he worked faithfully for nearly three decades.
A true child of the ’80s, Mike was a devoted fan of rock and roll and never missed a chance to attend a concert. His deep admiration for bands like Mötley Crüe, Poison, and Guns N’ Roses was more than a hobby — it was a lifestyle. He proudly wore autographed tattoos of his favorite rock legends, a walking tribute to the music that shaped him. Among his greatest joys was being a self-proclaimed “Crüe Head,” celebrating the energy and spirit of the band he loved most.
Mike also had a special love for the holidays. Halloween and Christmas were his favorites, and he went all out with decorations that brought joy and excitement to his neighborhood. Whether it was spooky fun or festive lights, Mike’s creativity and enthusiasm made the season brighter for everyone around him.
Mike is survived by his beloved dogs, Cooper, Tucker, and Bailey, who were his loyal companions and cherished family. He is also survived by his parents, Michael E. Mead and Marie Mead; his brother Brian Mead and sister-in-law Misti; and his nephews Colton and Bryce and niece Cristine. His love for his family was deep, and he will be remembered for his sense of humor, and fierce loyalty.
Mike’s vibrant personality, love of music, and devotion to his family and pets left a lasting mark on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
