With hearts, full of love and sorrow, we share the passing of our precious daughter Miriam, age 25, who left this world November 29 at 4:49 PM. Though her time with us was far too short, the impact she made will remain with us forever.
Born on January 6, 2000 in Houston, Texas Miriam arrived with a spirit that was loving and incredibly brave. Living with cerebral palsy she taught everyone around her, the meaning of strength, patience, and pure unconditional love. Her smile could soften even the hardest days, and her laughter, bright and unmistakable filled our home with joy. Miriam graduated from Deer Park high school in 2019 and was a part of the best buddies program. Miriam loved spending time with her sisters and family and her loving caregiver Christina. She loved music, true crime, feeling the sun on her face and cuddling with her family.
She connected deeply with those who cared for her communicating with her eyes, her expressions, and her presence. She reminded us daily that life’s greatest beauty is often found in the smallest quietest moments.
Though our hearts are heavy, we remain grateful for every moment we were blessed to spend with Miriam. She was a gift, radiant and unforgettable and her legacy of love will continue to guide us. We love you, Miriam, yesterday, tomorrow, and forever.
Miriam’s survived by her loving parents, David and Amie Paris; her loving caregiver, Christina Brittain; her father, Jose Medina and wife, Alicia Medina; her beautiful sisters, Abigail Paris and Madison Medina; as well as her amazing grandparents, Debra Fawcett, John McGhee, Jennifer McGhee and Maria Contreras. She also had many loving uncles, aunts, cousins and many loving friends.
