Neal Eichelman; what can you say about him? He didn't show very much emotion unless he was yelling at CNN or cheering on John Wayne for killing Nazi's. In his defense, he may have been showing emotion the whole time, but no one could tell because his beard was in the way of his face.
He married and loved Jessie for 32 years even though she came with a lot of baggage. At least 4 bags of kids with fun and quirky nuances that kept him guessing over the years. He guided his kids with the age old proverb about teaching a man to fish. His family may not be organic, but celebrating the life of Neal Patrick Eichelman has brought us here as as the family that he loved. He is survived by his wife - Jessie, 3 brothers - Eric, Huey and Kurt, 5 sons - Rhett, Jason, Bobby, Chris and Johnathan, his daughter - Brandy, 6 grandchildren - Reid, Hayden, Danielle, Everett, Trevor, Hank and Clara and 2 great-grandchildren - Andrew and Easton.
How do we move forward without our Dad, Husband, Brother, Grandfather or Friend around? Remember him as the teenager with hair down to his ass going 110 in a school zone in his Dodge Van (with side pipes). Remember him for making you see every colonial fort from Houston to Canada. Remember him for wearing bright white New Balance shoes to your wedding when you specifically told him not to. Remember him for the flawed man that was doing his best to make everyone he loved happy. Remember him however you want. Just remember him...
A remembrance memorial service for Neal will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.grandviewfunerals.com for the EICHELMAN family.
