Nelda Joyce Swift Heinze born October 4, 1926 went to be with Jesus on September 15, 2012. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years; Louis D. Heinze. Louis and Nelda raised their family in Deer Park, Texas. They had 3 children, daughter Sandra Callender who precedes her in death, her husband Roger Callender of Bedias, TX ; her son Wayne Heinze and wife Ann of Moody, TX. ; and daughter Pam Hanson and husband Jerry of Henderson, TX. Nelda had 6 grandchildren, Amy Callender, Richard Callender, Jennifer Wilhite Watkins, Kanaan Wilhite, David Heinze, and Lauren Heinze Coats and her husband Brandon. She had one great grandson, Owen Watkins. Nelda worked for Humble Oil & Refinery, and was secretary of First United Methodist Church, Deer Park, Texas. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 2:00pm-3:00pm, with funeral service to follow at 3:00pm in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home.
