Patricia Stone Muston

Pat was born in Koontz, Texas on February 12, 1931 to Folger and Gertrude Stone. She was the youngest child, joining her siblings Fred and Margaret. Her family resided in Alvin, Texas where she attended grades K-12.

Pat married Fred Lee Muston Jr. on June 9, 1950. She received her Bachelor Degree in Education from the University of Houston and taught in LaPorte ISD. Pat became a licensed real estate agent and operated her own appraisal business.

She served on the City of LaPorte Southeast Economic Development Council and used her skills and passion, to attract businesses and enhance the community’s image.

Pat was a member of the La Porte Heritage Society, Texas Army and participated in “living history” demonstrations at La Porte schools, San Jacinto Monument and Washington on the Brazos State Park.

She is preceded in death by her husband Fred Lee Muston Jr., parents Gertrude and Folger Stone, brother Fred Stone, sister Margaret Parker, and son Ross Patrick Muston (age 3).

She is survived by her sons Michael Glynn Muston (Eduardo Massa), Scott Andrew Muston (Regina) and David Lee Muston (Roy Gremillion). Grandchildren Lee Andrew Muston (Nathalie), Samuel Andrew Muston, Shannon Patrick Muston (Damaris) Laura Emmalee Muniz (Ben), Amy Glynn Muston and great grandson Dax Holden Muston.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. May 20, 2023 at South Park Cemetery Pearland, Texas.
