

Ronald Frank Perry, 73, of La Porte, TX, was born on June 6, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois and passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. Ronald was the eldest of eight children born to parents, Frank E. Perry and Ann Waschitz.
Ronald attended St. John’s Assumption Seminary and St. Mary’s University, where he received his B.A. in Sociology and Psychology. After graduating, he began his career in technical writing and training for Total Petrochemicals and Kuraray. On December 19, 1969, he was married to Donna Donnell at St. Pius Church in Pasadena, TX. Ronald was man of faith and family, he was a devoted member of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church.
He was actively involved in the LaPorte Citizen’s Police Academy, St. Mary’s University Alumni, Blue Santa, Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, Ride for Kids, Christus Foundation for Health, and the Nun Run.
Ronald is unreplaceable; he was loving, caring, funny, spiritual, kind, and giving. In his spare time, he loved fishing, motorcycling, travel, and painting. However, his greatest joys in life was the birth and adoption of his children.
Ronald is preceded in death by his father, Frank Perry; mother, Ann Perry; brother, John Perry; granddaughter, Sabrina Suarez; mother-in-law, Ozella Donnell; and sister-in-law, B.J. Roberds.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Perry; sons, Chris Perry, John Perry, and Jacob Perry; daughters, Dr. Laura Perry, Melanie Steele, Cherish Martos, and Stephanie Perry; sisters, Elaine Brown, Yvonne Moore, and Kathy Perry; brothers, Kenny Perry, Tommy Perry, and David Perry; granddaughters, Olivia Hayden, Teagan Martos, Kaitlyn Allen, Alana Geanangel, Gabriella Kirk, Serenity Perry, and Dana Fraley; grandsons, Christopher Kirk, Garrett Mitschke; great grandson, Nicholas Allen; and great granddaughters, Aleiah Dorsett and Pyper Whitaker, as well as a limitless amount of friends.
