He leaves his children, Dave Thomson and wife Gabrielle with children Bobby and Brittany, Steven Thomson, Gilbert Thomson, daughter Jessica and wife Gayle, and daughter Carol with granddaughters Brooke and Stephanie Tribble.
He was born in Houston, Texas in 1931 the son of Ronald Earl and Clarice Clary Thomson. Mr. Thomson was a resident of Pasadena, Texas since 1953. While serving in the Air Force during the Korean War he met his wife of 52 years, Barbara Thompson Thomson, who preceded him in death in 2004.
After his enlistment, Mr. Thomson began work at Rohm and Haas where he was employed for 40 years until his retirement. He was a scoutmaster, baseball and softball coach in the Deepwater community.
Funeral service and interment Monday, December 21, 2015, at Grandview Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy., Pasadena, TX 77505. Visitation will be from 12 pm – 3pm with the service to begin at 3:00.
