Samantha Lynne Sellars was born on March 30,1983 in Houston, Texas. She passed away peacefully, at the young age of 42, on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in Deer Park, Texas, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud sister, a cherished aunt, a joyful Gigi, and a loyal friend to many.
Samantha was a woman of quiet strength and steadfast dedication. She lived her life with compassion and purpose, always putting others before herself. Whether it was through a kind word, a warm meal, or simply being there when someone needed her most, Samantha had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and loved.
Her family was the center of her world. She took pride in every role she held — nurturing her children, offering wisdom to her siblings, spoiling her grandchildren as Gigi, and being a steady presence in the lives of her nieces and nephews. She built a life rooted in love, and her influence will be felt for generations.
Those who knew Samantha will remember her strength in the face of challenges, her generosity of spirit, and her ability to bring comfort and calm to any room. She gave so much of herself to others, and though her absence leaves a hole in many hearts, her legacy lives on in the love she shared and the lives she touched.
Samantha is preceded in death by her grandfathers Bill and Keith; her grandmothers Billie and Kaye; her father Rick Sr.; and her mother Tracy. She is survived by her husband Chris; her daughter Savannah (Easton); her other children she loved as her own – her sons Zach and Brandon (Destiny); her daughter Destinie; her grandsons Wade and Cash; her brothers Ric (Kristie) and Blake (Madison); her sister Brittany (Perry); her step-mother Karen (Paul); her nephew Caleb; her niece Paisley, and a host of extended family members and cherished friends who loved her deeply.
