What great pictures & wonderful memories. I am so sorry to hear of Bunny's passing. She was always such a sweet, fun person. We all had a lot of fun and now have many memories when you boys were playing football for La Porte Oilers! May your memories help you through this very difficult time and know that she is in a better place & no longer sick!

Bunny was a wonderful person to work with, always a smile and positive attitude. She had a wonderful inner energy, that made you feel good to be around her. My condolences to her family, we lost a magical person and fantastic co-worker.

"Knowing" Bunny extends to a time even prior to my work at Continental Airlines.   I met her sister Evelyn in 1978 when she was a teacher at my daughter's Pre-K (the year before my first husband passed away in May, 1979).  That next year I became director at that school and Evelyn stayed on as one of my teachers.  She often talked about her sister Sara Frances.  In 1985, shortly after I started work at CO at Hobby, I ran into Evelyn somewhere and when she learned I was working at Hobby, she asked if I knew her sister.  I said, "Who?"  She said "Sara Frances, but everyone calls her Bunny!"  Of course I knew her!  The next day I went straight over to Stores and we sat and talked for some time.  I remember when Steve died.  She talked to me openly because she knew I had been widowed with a young child.  Over the years, since she lived about a mile from me, we carpooled a few times.  She gave my daughter some furniture for an apartment when the boys were leaving home.  I remember being at the Dog Track once with her.  She always treated me as an equal at work.  I was never "just a secretary."  Since we lived in the same area, we knew some of the same people and we talked about things related to La Porte.  She was just so determined throughout this whole ordeal.  Every time I visited, I would tell her she had to get well and so we could both retire and go walk and do water aerobics at our Senior Center!  She said, "I'm game.  I will go if someone will go with me."  I will remember her always, being Bunny, the last time I visited January 20th.  Steven was there; maybe Victor came in also.  She was sitting up in her bed.  Her brother and his wife from Alvin were there, and her daughter-in-law Brandy also, along with Rose, her wonderful caregiver.  Bunny was very upbeat and talkative that afternoon... almost like the Bunny she had been before her illness.  One of the boys or someone told her to do something.  She looked over the top of her glasses and gave  "the look" so many have seen from her, as if to say, "You want ME to do WHAT!"  I am glad that is one of my last memories of her.  I felt close to her not only as a co-worker but also as a friend.  I am just glad I was able to help out when she needed me during the last couple of years.  As the pastor said at her service, Bunny loved God, her family, her friends, and her work.  Any of us who knew her has to have been impressed by her dedication, devotion, determination, and dignity!  Even though there is an empty spot in the many lives she touched, there is now a presence in Heaven that will surely impress everyone there.  It is with both sadness and joy that I say good-bye to my friend!  (P.S.:  Bunny, we will walk and do water aerobics in Heaven!)

You will forever be in our thoughts and prayers.  You were a great mother. Step-mother,and grand-mother. You will rest in peace now with daddy. Love you forever.

Victor and Steven.......I have so many wonderful memories of your Mother. She was my mentor when I started work at Texas International. She was also a dear friend. I have never known anyone to have the fierce dedication to family and work that she did. She was one of those people that led by example. Even when she started every day with a Diet Dr Pepper and a Snickers.( only Bunny could get away with that) I was blessed to have her pass through my life and I will miss her terribly.

There are no words to describe the sadness that passed over all of Continental when we heard the news that Bunny passed.  She WAS a legend at CAL and no one will ever be able to replace her.  RIP Bunny you will be sorely missed!!

What a heart-wrenching loss. As you travel down the path of your career, you encounter people along the way that forever change you. Bunny was one of those people. It was an honor to have worked for her and with her. She was a true inspiration to me and all of those around her. One can only hope to be a fraction of the woman, leader and friend that she was to so many.

I am so grieved to know that Bunny is no longer with us.  She was the bright light in everyone's day too many times.  She was beautiful, loving, positive, and serious when materials were truly needed to get an aircraft out the door.

My heart is heavy, so many regrets not spending more time with you.  It's like this huge connection I still had with my Dad is gone, you kept that memory alive for me.  I hope it will continue between Steven and Victor.  You were truly loved, and will be greatly missed.  I love you, when you see Daddy give him a big hug and kiss from me!!!!!!!!!

Bunny will truly be missed, such a loving woman, I will miss her morning calls.

I will remember Bunny for her dedication, energy and spunk. I never thought I would meet someone who could talk faster than me! She knew her business and took such pride in it.  Such a lovely and vivacious person; she will be sorely missed. To all of Bunny's family, friends and Continental coworkers...my sincere condolences. Rest in peace, Bunny!

It's so difficult to imagine the bright and vibrant women you were is no longer with us.  You continue to impact my life.  You were one of a kind - very unique and a special lady. I was saddened to hear of Bunny's passing. She was such a positive influance at Continental, and as one put it - she is a legend. She was always willing to help us and always went the extra mile. I don't know where she found the time and energy to do all that she did for those of us in aircraft maintenance. She is truely and amazing person. Well where do I start..  I cant think of any words that can express the love that I have for you.  You were absolutely amazing I have ten million memories and still wanna call my "Funny Bunny" every morning like I have for years.  I know that you have peace with being back with dad and the two of you will continue to mold and guide Steven and I on all of our life's adventures.  Mason thought the world of you and the fact that you are the best grandma "Mimi" that he could have ever wanted.  All the trips to the deer lease, fishing, out of the country trips were amazing.  I Love you so Much!!!  I wish you could see all the amazing things that your co workers have to say about you you were an amazing role model to thousands of people over the years and some say even "Legend" at Continental and I believe it.  Rest in peace and Remember your were greatly loved and will be severely missed.

It was such a pleasure to work for her and with her. Everyday was an adventure. She gave us so much.

We will miss you so very much. Continental will not be the same without you. We will miss your positive upbeat attitude. You have impacted so many lives by being a positive role model for us. We have lost a great boss and friend. My sincere sympathy to all of the family. May God give you strength and peace at this very difficult time.

My sympathy is extended to Bunny's family.  We graduated together and she had such a sense of humor.  I always admired her and was glad to call her my friend.

So saddened tonight !!!!!! Today I thought of Bunny,knowing she had been sick for many years and was thinking just today that I have not seen her in a very long time and wondered if she was ok. I always check the obituaries and to my horror she was there today! I have known Bunny for about 20 years as I did her hair and her 2 sons and had the pleasure of watching the boys grow into fine young men who loved their momma. Bunny was such a kind person and always had a smile on her face no matter how much pain she was in and I will miss her dearly.

We truly lost a bright star in our world and in our hearts when we lost you Bunny.  You were my co-worker, my boss, my mentor, but most of all - Bunyy, you were my friend.  I know you will be looking down at us from heaven, with a smile, saying "share with me compadre".  We love you Bunny and we will miss you.  You will always live on in our hearts and in our memories.

Bunny was the single most stable constant in the work life of so many.  She was charming and funny, helpful and resourceful, giving and cheerful - and she could deliver a punch with the softest hand, you never really realized you had been smacked.  She worked harder and longer than anybody I have ever met, and she did it with pride for her company and the most sincere desire to get it right.  Bunny leapt over departmental and philosophical boundaries as if they were not there - or at least not important.  She was constantly growing and learning and giving back.  She was strong!  Nobody messed with Bunny.  And you knew, if she took a position, you might as well give up, because Bunny was right, and she would wear down anybody who got in her way.  She was generous - with her time and her talents and her love.  When God made Bunny, He really did break the mold.  She was unique - and wonderful - and an inspiration.  We are all richer for having had her in our lives.  She truly did make us better people - and a better team.  The universe has a big hole in it today where Bunny once stood.  Rest easy, dearest friend.
