Steven Wayne Cloninger

Born on June 27th, 1959, in Texas. Steve was the son of Charles Cloninger and Mary Wilkins. He was born and raised in Texas. He graduated high school in 1977 from Sam Rayburn in Pasadena, TX. He was an electrician in his early career in San Antonio, TX and Houston, TX before working his way up to his position as Vice President of Firetron until retiring 2 years ago.

Steve will be remembered for his incredible work ethic, intelligence, sense of humor, love of the outdoors, and gregarious nature. Steve was always an earnest, driven man with ambition to complete a job and go above and beyond. He would often bring enjoyment to others with his sense of humor. He loved hunting and fishing or just being out of the city and communing with nature.

Steve is preceded in death by his father, Charles Cloninger and survived by his sons, Cody Cloninger and Jeremy Galloway.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505, US, on March 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM with a reception to follow at the same location.

The family requests that flowers be donated to Grand View Funeral Home and thank them for their support.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
