Sylvia Grimes

We all knew and loved Sylvia as Sebe.

She was an incredible, wife, mother, daughter but above all else an extraordinary grandmother.

Sebe spent 13 joyful years with the love of her life, Rick Grimes. Their life together was filled with the deepest love imaginable. Together they enjoyed spending time with family, motorcycle riding, dancing and taking road trips. She was also a member of the HLSR Go Tejano Committee and enjoyed her volunteer work with them (2014-2018).

Sebe was a driven and motivated entrepreneur who accomplished every goal she set for herself, whether it was in owning her own businesses, selling real estate or the passion and dedication she put into her crafting and baking.

She always made every occasion special, and no one’s birthday went uncelebrated, but Christmas was the most magical.

She will be remembered for many things, being a beautiful person inside and out, her generosity, her unconditional love for her children and grandchildren and most of all for loving us all with her whole heart. She will be greatly missed but leaves behind a beautiful legacy that will keep her memory alive.

She was preceded in death by Father; Robert Alvarez Gaitan Sr., Maternal Grandparents; Pauline Rodriguez and Godofredo Peralez, Paternal Grandparents; Anastacio Gaitan and Maria Alvarez Gaitan, and Father-in-law; Joe Grimes.

She is survived by her Husband; Rick Grimes, Mother; Mary Gaitan, Children; Ashley(Aaron), Kassie, Ray "Bubba", Siblings; Robert(Thais), Mark(Julie), Melissa, Paula(Marion), Grandchildren; Payton, Riley, Evan, Brody, Tatum, Logan, and Skyler. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
