Thomas Preston Manuell, 71, of La Porte, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at his residence. He was born on December 19, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas to the late Louis and Esther Manuell. Thomas made his career as a machinist in the oil and gas industry. He was a faithful member of La Porte Community Church.
Thomas pursued many interests, some of which were collecting guns, fishing, hunting, and watching sports. He also enjoyed sitting around to talk politics to anyone who would listen. Thomas loved his family dearly and found that his greatest joy came from the time spent with the ones he loved the most.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his two sons Jacob Manuell and Warren Manuell and wife Chrystal; his six grandchildren Anthony, Bayli, Dylan, Joshua, Kreyce, and Blayne; his two sisters Judith Marnell and husband David, and Kathleen Manuell; his nephew Brandon Jacks; his niece Sabrina Jacks; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Thomas will be held Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.
