Honest, hardworking, loyal, dedicated, keen witted, well respected, and exceptional supervisor and a great friend. We worked through some tough situations at Bayport in the early years. “Just a few thoughts:

1. Always respect the men that work for you.

2. Do not only communicate bad news. If they do a good job let them know.

3. Never take anyone for granted.

4. Treat your men with respect. These are the guys that take care of you.

5. Lead by example.

6. Show them you care about them. Let your presence be known. I know you are busy, however, this is extremely important.

7. Do not think everything is roses, never is.  Always something lurking.

My darling daughter, I can't fine the words to express how much your dad will be missed, to your daddy, you were the sparkle in his eyes and the laughter in his heart, he loved you so very much. Your dad would always say "that girl is so stubborn" and I'd say I know she's just like you and he would laugh.  Your dad was so very proud of you, he always thought you had a good head on your shoulders and the most loving heart every.  These days to come will be hard, but just remember your dad will always be in your heart and right beside you in every step you make.  You will always have his memories, hold them close to your heart and think of all the good times you had together and all the wonderful talks you shared with him.  He will be greatly missed, I can still hear his voice and laughter.  Your dad was a good, strong and wonderful man.

I'm Alvin Robins and my wife, Rose, and our very special caregivers have the privilege of caring for Tim's Dad. I first met Tim when he came to visit his Dad more than four years ago and like clockwork every week thereafter, including all our holiday parties. In the many brief conversations that Tim and I had sometimes Tim, his Dad and I - I was able to develope a sense of this man, which in my experience, enabled me to see a man of integrity. Shakespeare said, "To Thine Own Self Be True". Surely, it was very easy to find that Tim after love of family, must have learned early on from his Mom and Dad that integrity is the key to a good life. Tim impressed me as a "no nonsense" guy who blended into his life a sense of true caring. Sometimes his depth of caring might have been camouflaged by a discomfort so he would not look like he was seeking any thanks or credit. Possibly without knowing it, Tim was also practicing medicine. Each time he would visit and spend time wiht his Dad, he was delivering a pep-tonic, a magic elixir, far better than all the stuff we get from pharmacies. Quite candidly, we at Rose Garden truly owe Tim an extraordinary debt of gratitude for the help he provided. I have met much of the family, but certainly not all, and those who I know, also for more than four years, Shelly and Valerie and Grandson James also carry with them that special medicine. I know that they will pick up where Tim had to stop so he could move upstairs. Tim - We weren't social friends and I didn't know you for many, many years; however, we will miss you and thanks for everything.

I am just so very sorry.  Words can not express anything that can make the pain go away. I know your Dad was so proud of you and those grandbaby's. Take things one day at a time. I'm so very saddened to hear of Tim's sudden passing. I had the pleasure of being his barber for the last several years. I'm actually not even sure how many. It's always so hard when I lose a long-time client because we come to look at them as friends. I even cut James' hair for a number of years.
