Wanda Elaine Johnson Hausler was born to Blanche Irene Shoemaker Johnson and Olan Marvin Johnson on July 28, 1938 in Madison County, Texas. At the age of 16 the family moved to Pasadena. Elaine graduated from Pasadena High School in 1955 and shortly after she met her husband at the Pasadena Bowling Alley. She married John Allen Hausler on January 23, 1958 and they were married for 63 years until he passed away in April of 2021. Elaine worked at Harrisburg Eye Associates for 39 years until she retired in 2002.
She leaves behind her daughters Tammy and husband Robert Hardy, Wendy and husband Ricky Sandoval, and Leslie Hausler. Her cherished grandchildren Amanda and Erin Hardy, Evan and wife Alyssa Gushwa, Andrew and wife Laura Fay, Madison Fay, and Avery Fay and fiancé Clay Schlosser. Her adorable great grandchildren Raiden and Eli Gushwa and Isabella and Alessandra Fay. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents, and her sister Gwenola Mullican. She is survived by her sister Billie Jean Risinger.
