

Alzheimer's disease took another life, she lived through so many struggles in her lifetime. She was so strong and confident, and then slowly piece by piece Alzheimer's took everything away; except our love and the strength that she taught us. Wanda Ballard Hebert, 81, passed away March 11, 2016, in Webster, Texas. She was born July 5, 1934, in Daingerfield, Texas to the late Naoma and Alvin Milburn Ballard. She retired after many years of teaching at San Jacinto College. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bruce Martin Hebert; sisters Kathleen Ballard, Margie Martin, and her twin Melba Bonvillian; brother Mac Ballard.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Hebert, Cheryl and Don Little, Cynthia and Mitchell Smithson and; son, Curtis and Joan Hebert. Also, grandchildren, Teresa and Luckey Reed, Christi and Justin Reeves, Bruce Doxey, Anthony, Michael, and Kyle Smithson, Holly and Chris Russell, Gabrielle, Nicholas, and Elliott Hebert, Stephanie and Dave Winkleman, Virginia and Clay Smith; 12 great-grandchildren Sean, Kaitlyn, and Khloe Reeves, Connor and Ava Reed, Alyxandria Porter, Aubrey, Bailey, Brady Smith, Benjamin Winkleman, Adelaide Russell, Bane Wylie; sister Elinor Stoffer and brother, Larry Ballard and a host of other loving family members and friends.
A visitation will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 18, 2016, at Deer Park Methodist Church, 1300 East 13th Street, Deer Park, TX. Interment will follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
