Yancie was born on August 20, 1978 in Tucson, AZ. He spent his school years in Colstrip, MT and moved to Texas in 1998. He worked diligently for more than 11 1/2 years at Woodforest National Bank.
Yancie was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Tolbert Jr. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Tiffany and two children Tommy Tolbert III (11) and Cameron (4), as well as his mother Carolyn, brother Jason, sister Amanda, brother-in-law Mike, niece Ashlee, uncle Clay, and aunt Debbie, as well as a list of friends and extended family all of which he loved.
An intelligent mind and great conversationalist, he loved motorcycles, mixed martial arts, football, craft beers, music, and movies. He most enjoyed being surrounded by his family and spending time with his friends. He loved coaching Tommy’s sports teams, and that rough exterior turned to mush when speaking with his daughter Cameron. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him, whether you knew him for a few minutes or for a lifetime. How fortunate we are to have someone that makes saying goodbye so hard.
