

Zelda Murray, 81, went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2013 in Houston, TX. She was born on November 4, 1931 in Lilbert, TX to Ocie Lee and Charlie Wallace. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Carol, Leon and Ralph Wallace and sister, Opal Clifton. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Joe Murray; sister Gwytha Rogers; daughters, Charlotte and husband Chris Michael and Paula and husband Jeff Fradette and 4 grandchildren, Matthew and Bryan Michael, Jared and Zachary Fradette; and many nieces and nephews. She was employed by Southwestern Bell for more than 20 years, beginning as a long distance operator and retiring as a drafter. She loved to do needlework, sew, and cook. Zelda and Joe enjoyed traveling with family and friends. She was a very intelligent, loving, caring and giving woman. She will be greatly missed. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
