Abundio Zamarripa Jr, 74, went to be with the Lord Monday, February 13, 2017 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas. Abundio was born December 22, 1942 in Pharr, Texas to Abundio Sr. and Maxima Zamarripa.
Abundio is preceded in death by his parents, Abundio and Maxima Zamarripa and numerous siblings.
Abundio was a loving father, grandfather, loved by all. Abundio was a very active person who loved music, singing, playing his guitar and carpentry. He was the best Papa/ Papa-do to his grandchildren.
Abundio is survived by his loving son and daughter; Joel Zamarripa (Julie) and Maricela Zamarripa (Kent). He also leaves behind 5 grandsons; Cristian and Daniel Zamarripa, Nicolas, Michael and Lucas Wiechart. Seven siblings; Jose Zamarripa, Rosa Zamarripa, Raul Zamarripa, Roberto Zamarripa, Ruben Zamarripa, Ernesto Zamarripa, and Erasmo Zamarripa, whom he loved and cherished very much.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 2-9p.m with a 7p.m. rosary at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 16th at St. Margaret Mary Church at 2 p.m. Interment will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
