Amelia Rodriguez

Amelia Rodriguez, born on March 28, 1955, passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 70. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Amelia was predeceased by her husband, Teodoro Rodriguez Sr., her father, Juan Sanchez, and her mother, Francisca Salazar.

She is survived by her children, Teodoro Rodriguez (Gloria), Juan Pedro Rodriguez, and Norma Elizabeth Rodriguez, as well as her 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Amelia found great joy in the simple, meaningful rhythms of everyday life. She enjoyed cooking hearty meals for her family, rarely needing a recipe and always adding her own special touch that made every dish memorable. She also took pride in her garden, tending carefully to her flowers and plants, delighting in each new bloom and the changing seasons. Music was a constant companion in her home, especially the uplifting sounds of Christian hymns and gospel songs that reflected her deep faith. She often filled the house with melodies that brought her comfort and joy. Above all, Amelia treasured time with her grandchildren. She was their biggest supporter, faithfully attending their games.

A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, located at 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, TX 78577, on February 18, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. A prayer service will take place at the same venue on February 18, 2026, at 7:00 pm. A chapel service will be held on February 19, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by a burial at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, also located at 4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577, at 11:00 am.

Amelia’s warmth and dedication to her family and community will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
