Angelita was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and someone special. To those that knew her best she was an exceptional person. Angelita was born and raised in Pharr, Texas and was blessed to have four children, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was able to celebrate 62 wedding anniversaries with her beloved husband, Ruperto Torres. Angelita had many pastimes but her favorite included cooking, walking, shopping and spending time with her beloved family. She was a devoted Catholic and dedicated her life to her family. Simply stated, Angelita was strong willed, kind and generous, she extended her heart and soul to those she loved. She leaves with all those who knew her many wonderful memories.
Angelita is survived by her husband, Ruperto Torres; daughter Raquel Franqui; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren along with numerous extended family and friends, .
Angelita was preceded in death by father, Joaquin Sauceda; mother, Clemencia Villarreal Sauceda; and sons Rolando Torres, Ricardo Torres and Roberto Torres.
A memorial service for Angelita will be held Friday, May 28, 2021 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, Texas 78577. A catholic mass will occur Friday, May 28, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St Annes Catholic Church, 801 E Juarez Ave #4143, Pharr, TX with her burial of ashes scheduled to follow 11:00 AM at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, Texas 78577.
