Anna S Martinez

Born in Sugarland, Texas. She was raised in Chicago, Ill, and lived in Houston, TX from 1966 until she made San Juan, TX her new home in 1995. Anna married the love of her life Tiburcio in 1949. Together the couple had four children who they raised with traditional values and with the word of God. Anna enjoyed playing the piano and singing, crocheting, sewing, and reading. Her motivation in life was her beloved family. Her prayers and wise words are going to be greatly missed forever by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tiburcio Martinez.

Anna is survived by her four children, Sam, Fred, Liz, and David; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; numerous extended family.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at El Tabernaculo Church in San Juan, Texas. Visitation will continue on Monday, November 7, 2022, at 11 a.m. at El Tabernaculo Church and a service will be held at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
