Antonio Guerrero

Antonio Guerrero, 81, of McAllen, Texas, entered into eternal rest on December 7, 2025. Born on November 28, 1944, Antonio lived a life marked by kindness, simplicity, and a deep appreciation for the joys found in family, music, and nature.

Antonio was a devoted brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his loving sisters, Nilda Lopez (Guillermo Lopez) and Sofia Gonzalez (Heraldo Gonzalez); nephews, Gabrian Gonzalez, Heraldo Gonzalez III, and Arnoldo Guerrero Jr. (Maggie Guerrero); nieces, Olga Rodriguez (+Ezequiel Rodriguez) and Julissa Guerrero; great-nieces, Julie Ann Rivas, Bianca Marie Lozano (Jaime Lozano) and Destiny Rodriguez (Daniel Franco) and Anyssa Abigail Guerrero; and great-nephews, Ezequiel Rodriguez Jr., Arnoldo Guerrero III and Anthony Ryan Guerrero.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Antonio Guerrero Sr. and Julia Guerrero De Leon, as well as his brother, Arnoldo Guerrero.

Antonio will be remembered for his warm heart and the simple pleasures he cherished. He enjoyed listening to Música Tejana, and he loved to dance whenever the opportunity arose. At home, he found peace in tending to his garden and sharing his space with beloved dogs and cats who brought him companionship and joy.

A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, TX 78577, on December 10, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens at 3:00 p.m.

Antonio’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.

Antonio Guerrero, de 81 años, residente de McAllen, Texas, falleció el 7 de diciembre de 2025. Nacido el 28 de noviembre de 1944, Antonio vivió una vida marcada por la bondad, la sencillez y un profundo aprecio por las alegrías de la familia, la música y la naturaleza.

Antonio fue un hermano, tío y amigo muy querido. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Jose Antonio Guerrero Sr. y Julia Guerrero De Leon, así como su hermano, Arnoldo Guerrero.

Antonio será recordado por su gran corazón y los sencillos placeres que atesoraba. Disfrutaba escuchando música tejana y le encantaba bailar siempre que tenía la oportunidad. En casa, encontraba paz cuidando su jardín y compartiendo su espacio con sus queridos perros y gatos, quienes le brindaban compañía y alegría.

El velorio se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, TX 78577, el 10 de diciembre de 2025, de 9:00 a.m. a 3:00 p.m., con el rezo del Rosario a la 1:30 p.m. El sepelio se realizará en Palm Valley Memorial Gardens a las 3:00 p.m.

El recuerdo de Antonio vivirá para siempre en los corazones de todos los que lo conocieron y amaron. Que descanse en paz.
