Belinda Almazan

Belinda Almazan was a loving and caring woman, known as the aunt you could turn to for anything. She was a second mother to many, especially to her nieces and nephews, always offering guidance, love, and support. Above all, her world revolved around her daughter and grandson, whom she cherished deeply.

Belinda had a kind heart and a strong spirit, always putting her family first. She worried about them, loved them fiercely, and instilled valuable lessons—especially tough love when it was needed. She did an incredible job raising her daughter and grandson, Marcus, always wanting the best for them. Those who knew her depended on her strength, wisdom, and unwavering love. Though she is no longer physically with us, her presence is still felt, and her love continues to guide those she left behind.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jorge Almazan Sr. and Francisca Garcia.

Belinda is survived by her beloved daughter, Kassandra Almazan; her cherished grandson, Marcus Alexander Almazan; her siblings, Patricia Almazan Diaz (Francisco Diaz), Jorge Almazan Jr., Eddiberto Almazan (Martha Razo), Eduardo Garcia (Kimberly); and her second mother, Maria Guadalupe Prichard. Belinda’s love, wisdom, and warmth will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr, Texas. Graveside service will begin Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr, Texas.
