Eliza Sandoval Salazar

She was born on December 25, 1936 to Gustavo Sandoval and Encarnacion Sandoval Sandoval in Fronton, Texas. She was a 1956 graduate of PSJA High School.

Eliza is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Rogelio (Rebecca) Sandoval, Adalberto Sandoval, Viola (Eusebio) Puente, Gustavo Sandoval Jr., Juan Roberto Sandoval and Fernando Sandoval. She is also preceded in death by her in laws, Romulo and Maria Salazar, Eloisa Salazar, Evelia Salazar, Carmelina Ortiz, Benita Salazar, and Ernesto (Rufina) Salazar.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Santos Salazar. Her favorite children, Maria Esther Hernandez, Rosalinda Salazar (Raul) Garza and Romulo Rudy Salazar (Leticia Ledesma). Her adoring grandchildren, Alfredo (Maria) Hernandez and Christopher Eric Hernandez; her dear great grandchildren, Alfredo Hernandez III (Tres) and Eliza Rosalinda Hernandez (Ellie Rose). Eliza is also survived by her faithful siblings, Amador (Elizabeth) Sandoval, Delia Sandoval, Daniel (Rosalinda) Sandoval, Maria Martina (Alfredo) Zavala, Noelia (Ramon) Guajardo and her in-laws, Adelaida Sandoval, Elida Sandoval, Francisca Sandoval and Carlos Salazar; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be on Monday, Dec. 4, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley with a rosary service at 6:00 pm. A prayer service will be held on Tues. Dec 5, 2023 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with burial at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
