He is preceded in death by his parents George Flores, Jr. & Elida G. Flores, a brother, Ezequiel Flores, and baby Flores, in-laws Roberto & Josefina Cantu.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 48 years, Delia Flores of Pharr, TX; His Son Hector James (Sarah) Flores, Odessa, TX; Paula (Jesse) Regalado and his grandchildren, Jayden Matthew Regalado and Kayden Jesselle Regalado from Pharr, TX. His siblings: George (Frances) Flores, McAllen, TX, Gilbert (Marta) Flores, Morisson, Co, Rick (Yolanda) Flores, McAllen, TX, Homer (Janie) Flores, Kyle, TX, Ray Flores, Dallas, TX, Mary Elizabeth (Robert) Zepeda, Jr, McAllen, TX, his maternal aunt, Antonia Zurita, Bayview, TX and cousin Federico (Jimmy) Fierro whom he loved as a brother from Port Isabel, TX. He also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Hector was a proud Veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force as a Security Police Officer. He later worked as a U.S. Customs Agent where he dedicated many years until he retired due to illness.
Hector was a strong man who endured many years of illness, so he cherished every moment with his family especially his grandchildren who were his world. He was a devout Dallas Cowboys fan who would not miss watching a game no matter what was going on.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr, TX. Visitation will begin from 10:00a.m. – 2:30p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 1:00p.m. Funeral mass to follow at 3:00p.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr, TX.
