EDINBURG- Hilario G. Luevano Sr, 72, left to be with the Lord on Friday, September 22, 2017 at his residence in Edinburg. He was born to Jose Tereso and Estanislada Luevano on October 21, 1944 in Knox City, Texas. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Irma Canales Luevano and their children: Irma (Johnny) Luevano Hinojosa, Estevan (Margarita) Luevano, Hilario (Mary) Guadalupe Luevano Jr, Silvestre (Mindy) Luevano, Hector (Bryan) Luevano and Alicia Luevano. He will also be greatly missed by 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, siblings: Gregorio Luevano, Eva Berumen, Janie Lopez and Mara Barco. Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 4 pm to 9 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am, Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at 12 pm, September 27, 2017 at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr.
