Jorge's life was filled with simple joys and cherished moments. He found happiness in playing video games, watching football games, and enjoying cookouts with family and friends. These interests reflected his love for companionship and his appreciation for life's everyday pleasures.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mayrani Martinez, who stood by his side through life's journey. Jorge also leaves behind his father, Jorge Zapata, and his mother, Lizette Zapata, who nurtured him with love and guidance. His siblings, Joanna Zapata, Angel Zapata, and Anahi Zapata, will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. Jorge is preceded in death by his brother, Mags Zapata, and his grandfather, Daniel Zapata, who now welcome him with open arms.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Jorge's life at the following services. A visitation will be held on January 22, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, located at 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, TX 78577. During this time, a prayer service will take place from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service will be held on January 23, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St Jude Catholic Church, 505 S Ironwood St, Pharr, TX 78577. Following the funeral, a committal service will occur at 11:00 am at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, 4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577.
