Josefa Rodriguez

Born in Los Herreras, Durango, she lived most of her life in the Rio Grande Valley. Mrs. Josefa was a devoted catholic and family oriented woman. She dedicated her life to her beloved family, Josefa was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. In her free time she enjoyed watching news, novelas, and mexican movies. She also enjoyed long walks in the evenings, and family reunions. Family was always welcome to visit her and join her having cafecito and pan dulce. Mrs. Rodriguez will always live in the hearts of her family and friends by her strong faith, words of wisdom, and beautiful smile.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eduviges Rodriguez; two grandchildren, Anita Rodriguez, Tony Rodriguez Jr.; a great-grandson, Isaiah Leo Gonzalez; her parents and three siblings.

Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her five children, Tony (Elena) Rodriguez Sr., Eddie (Alma) Rodriguez Jr., Elizabeth (Pablo) Garcia, Martin (Nelda) Rodriguez, David (Yolanda) Rodriguez; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jose Herrera, Abel Herrera; and numerous extended family.

Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 10 pm, with a 7 pm rosary on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. A catholic funeral service will take place at 10 am, on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
