Juan was known for his unwavering work ethic and infectious sense of humor. He dedicated his life to his family and his work, always striving to provide the best for those he loved. His laughter was a constant presence, bringing joy and light to every room he entered.
Born on October 6, 1945, Juan grew up with a strong sense of responsibility and a passion for hard work. In his early years he was a farm worker traveling the country to help provide for his family. He met his wife of sixty years Gloria Perales in New Mexico. He later became a self-taught machinist in East Los Angeles CA, where he was respected and admired by colleagues and friends alike. As a loving son, he moved his family to South Texas to be closer to his ailing father.
As a father, Juan was always there with a word of wisdom or a joke to lift our spirits. He taught us the value of hard work, integrity, and the importance of finding joy in the little things. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience.
As a grandfather, he was blessed with eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. His grandchildren will forever cherish the memories of his playful spirit and his stories.
Juan is survived by his loving wife Gloria Perales and his children Cindy Barrera, Gloria Jean Vargas, Johnny Perales and Eric Perales. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
A celebration of Juan’s life will be held on 3/25/2025 at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley 4607 N. Sugar Rd. Pharr TX. Viewing will be held from 5-9 pm with the eulogy at 6:30pm.
Rest in peace, Juan Peralez. Your legacy of love, laughter, and hard work will continue to inspire us all.
