Sue attended high school in Villisca, Iowa, and went on to further her education at the University of Northern Iowa, where she obtained her Master's Plus in Library Science. Her dedication to learning and education was evident throughout her career as a school teacher specializing in English and Library Science. She also served as the Director of Media for the Cedar Falls School District, where her leadership and commitment to excellence were highly regarded.
Sue was married to her devoted husband, Byron Davis, for 57 years. Together, they built a loving family. She is survived by her sons, Benjamin and Zachary Davis, Zachary’s wife, Brooke Davis, and her sister, Sherry Brodd, who cherished their close bond.
In her personal life, Sue enjoyed making greeting cards, a hobby that reflected her creativity and attention to detail. She was a resident of Pharr, Texas, where she was known for her warmth and generosity.
